Wideband Antenna for Wireless Personal Area Network

あらまし 最近,UWB 技術を用いたワイヤレス PAN やワイヤレス USB を実現するための小形・広帯域の アンテナが多数提案されている.UWB 技術を用いたワイヤレス PAN では,3.1~10.6GHz の周波数を利用し て,高画質の動画をリアルタイムに転送することができる.また,ワイヤレス USBでは,USB によるデータ転 送をワイヤレス化するものであり,ディジタルカメラなどの大きな動画ファイルも UWB 技術により数秒で転送 が可能になる.いずれの用途においても,小形で広帯域のアンテナが必要になる.特にワイヤレス USB 端末で は,アンテナ放射素子部の最大寸法を 20 mm 程度以下とする要望がある.本論文は,ワイヤレス PAN やワイ ヤレス USB を実現するために,今まで報告されてきた小形・広帯域化技術を取り上げて紹介する.更に,その 中の有力なものについて,その...
